What is the ACEC WisPAC?
WisPAC is designed to complement the ACEC WI Conduit Fund, working to protect and promote the interests of consulting engineering firms. The primary purpose of the WisPAC is to support political campaigns and candidates who recognize and support positions that foster a healthy engineering community in the state of Wisconsin.

How does the ACEC WisPAC work?
Individuals donate personal money to the WisPAC. Money is held in the ACEC WisPAC checking account until contributions are needed. The ACEC WI Legislative Committee directs where the funds will be used. A number of factors (past voting record, candidate need, viability of win, etc) are used to determine which candidate to support. Contributions support pro consulting engineering candidates, regardless of political affiliation.

Why contribute to ACEC WisPAC?

• ACEC WisPAC gives the engineering industry a stronger voice with elected state representatives.
• A strong ACEC WisPAC gives the industry access to legislators to help them understand the crucial issues that confront our industry and the state.
• ACEC WisPAC contributions allow you to help elect pro consulting engineering candidates, but ACEC WI does all the work. We research and identify the candidates, prioritize where money will do the most good, and provide WisPAC contributions to those candidates when it is needed.

What to contribute?
ACEC WI recommends contributing to WisPAC, ACEC WI Conduit Fund, and ACEC PAC. Conduit participants are encouraged to make a WisPAC donation totaling 5-10% or their planned conduit contribution.
