Engineers Week Feb. 16-22

We salute Wisconsin’s hard-working engineers. They take on complex problems and design effective solutions that improve the quality of life in every corner of the state.

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin joins organizations throughout the country in celebrating Engineers Week, now in its 30th year.

Our Engineers Week celebration includes recognizing the Engineering Excellence Award winners. The 2020 winning projects strengthened our infrastructure, enhanced public safety and bolstered the economy. The Awards Gallery showcases engineering achievements that demonstrate the highest degree of skill and ingenuity.

Engineers Improve Communities

ACEC Wisconsin’s member firms represent every discipline of engineering related to the built environment – civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental and geotechnical – and affiliated companies.

Our members help design the state’s future from the northern to southern boundaries. We consist of:

  • 168 member-firm offices throughout Wisconsin
  • 3,800 Wisconsinites employed by member firms

“We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of the engineering profession all year long, and especially during Engineer’s Week.”

“Congratulations to all the member firms of ACEC for the work they do to maintain and improve the public’s health, safety and welfare,” said Kim Lobdell, PE, ACEC Wisconsin Board of Directors Chair. “We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of the engineering profession all year long, and especially during Engineer’s Week.”

Lobdell is president of KL Engineering, Madison, Wisconsin.
