Get Managers to Address Difficult Issues Before HR Has To:
An Interactive Leadership Simulation for HR Leaders

Managers are expected to give honest feedback, address performance concerns, and hold people accountable. But when a conversation feels uncomfortable, especially in a “Midwest Nice” culture, they may soften the message, put it off, or avoid it altogether.

When difficult conversations are avoided, poor performance and harmful behavior continue, frustration spreads, trust in leadership declines, and HR eventually inherits a much bigger problem.

In this interactive session, you will experience an AI-enabled simulation that gives managers a safe way to practice difficult conversations before having them with a real employee.

You will take part in a simulated conversation with a “toxic rockstar”- a high performer whose behavior is hurting the team. As the conversation unfolds, you will respond privately and receive immediate feedback on how well you addressed the real issue, handled pushback, set clear expectations, and moved the conversation toward meaningful change.

The technology is simply the tool. The real value is giving managers a practical way to apply the skills they have already learned so they can address problems sooner, protect working relationships, and lead with greater confidence and consistency.

You will leave with a clearer picture of how AI enabled simulations could strengthen your existing leadership development efforts and reduce the number of preventable people problems that land in HR’s lap.

The HR Forum is open to all employees at ACEC Wisconsin member firms. There is no cost to attend the HR Forum, however an RSVP is required. If your plans change, please contact us to revise your attendance status.

Thank you to Pinnacle Engineering Group for hosting the HR Forum event.
