Lifetime Achievement Award

• An individual employed at a Member Firm
• A Former Member (retired) with tenure at a Member Firm
• Members of the current year’s Board of Directors are ineligible

Individual has made significant contributions in one or more of the following areas over their lifetime:

• ACEC WI Service/Activities
• Civic Leadership/Public Service
• ACEC National Participation
• Contributions to the Engineering Profession (including mentoring)
• Other Significant Contributions of a Lifetime Demonstrating Exemplary Dedication to the Profession 
• Individual has represented the organization and/or the profession in an ethical manner over their lifetime.
• The Lifetime Achievement award is for long-term service recognition. Recognition for short-term projects, service, etc. is recognized via the annual Chair’s Award program. 
• May be awarded posthumously 

Nomination

Please complete to the best of your ability. You may wish to contact a senior member of the nominee’s organization to gather additional information.

• The ACEC WI Lifetime Achievement Award Nomination Form must be completed and submitted to ACEC WI by the deadline.
• Member firm principals are eligible to submit nominations.
• The Nominating Committee shall review and approve nominations. Nominations shall remain confidential.

Selection

• Selection is based on the information provided on the Nomination Form.
• Past Chairs within the organization’s membership shall vote via ballot (mail or electronic).
• One Lifetime Achievement Award shall be presented per year unless there are extraordinary circumstances, as determined by the Nominating Committee.
• An award may not be issued in every year.

The Lifetime Achievement Award winner is honored at the annual Awards Banquet on April 30, 2027.
