Utility Mapping Services, PC, an SBA veteran owned small business established in 2002, specializes in Subsurface Utility Engineering, providing accurate, georeferenced utility data utilizing advanced geophysical tools, including multi-channel ground penetrating radar, time domain electromagnetics, magnetic gradiometer towed arrays, as well as multi-beam sonar, and downhole LiDAR and structure from motion survey technologies. UMS is also a pioneer in 3D modeling of utility infrastructure, conflict analytics with proposed designs and construction, and a new specialized sub-discipline of civil engineering called "Project Utility Engineering" which focuses on integrating existing utilities with proposed project development and delivery.
