A New Strategic Framework for 2026–2028

We are proud to officially launch our 2026–2028 Strategic Framework — a member-informed roadmap that reflects both where we are today and where we are intentionally headed over the next three years.

Developed through a comprehensive process including a membership survey, strategic planning retreat, and extensive review and fine tuning by the Board of Directors, the plan provides clarity, focus, and direction.

We invite members to explore the framework and partner with us as we bring this strategy to life together.

A New Vision and Mission

At the heart of the framework is a new vision and mission:

Vision:

Wisconsin’s trusted leader for engineering business excellence.

Mission:

Elevating the engineering profession through effective advocacy, meaningful connections, and talent development.

Introducing Organizational Commitments

New to this framework is the concept of organizational commitments — principles that are intentionally woven into everything we do:

Organizational Excellence: ACEC WI is recognized as a trusted, high-performing organization.

We belong at ACEC WI: ACEC WI is an organization that reflects diversity and an inclusive environment where all members feel welcomed, engaged, and valued.

Focus Areas

The framework is organized around four strategic goals:

Advocacy: Establish and nurture strategic relationships, positioning our organization as a trusted advisor.
Develop & Engage: Provide accessible growth and leadership opportunities across career levels and paths.
Promote & Elevate: Increase public awareness and perception of the vital work of engineering companies.
Invest in the Future: Identify our resources and role in growing interest in entering the engineering field.

From Framework to Action

With the framework now approved, we are shifting from planning to execution. Committees, programs, and initiatives will align with these priorities as the organization brings this strategic direction to life.
