Engineers Make WHAT Happen Coloring Contest

What do engineers really do? We’re asking kids to tell us — through creativity, color, and imagination.

ACEC Wisconsin is excited to launch our first Engineers Make WHAT Happen Coloring Contest, a playful twist on our Engineers Make It Happen tagline and a fun way to celebrate Engineers Week (February 22–28, 2026).

This contest invites kids to draw a picture of what an engineer does — whether that’s designing roads, protecting the environment, building communities, or powering the future.

How to Enter

1. Download the Engineers Make WHAT Happen coloring sheet and read the rules. 
2. Draw and color using any materials on hand (crayons, markers, paint, pencils)
3. Take a photo or scan the finished artwork
4. Email submissions by February 16, 2026, to kelly@acecwi.org

This is a great opportunity to involve your own kids and share engineering with classrooms in your community. Plus kids have a chance to a win a $100 gift card!
