Participate in Go Orange Day on April 22
Wednesday, April 22, 2026, is Go Orange Day in Wisconsin and across the country. It’s an opportunity for us to wear orange in partnership with WisDOT and in recognition of the men and women who work day and night to improve and maintain our roads and bridges.
Speeding, tailgating and distracted driving are the leading causes of work zone crashes in Wisconsin. State law prohibits texting while driving on any road. It’s also illegal to use a hand-held mobile device in work zones and in areas surrounding emergency response vehicles with flashing lights. We hope with your help we can inspire more people across the state to do their part to keep our roads safe.
How you can help:
- On Go Orange Day (April 22, 2026), share photos on your social media accounts of your teams wearing orange to support work zone safety. The Go Orange Day photo frame is attached to this email along with suggested social media posts.
