At our 2025 Awards Banquet, John Kissinger was presented with his ACEC Fellow plaque and awarded the ACEC WI Lifetime Achievement Award. John has served at GRAEF for over 40 years, taking over as President and CEO in 2012. He served on ACEC’s board for five years, including as chair during the very tricky 2020 COVID year. Outside of ACEC, he has been a strong support of civic engagement and engineering growth in the city of Milwaukee, serving on the Dean’s cabinet at the College of Engineering and Applied Science at UW Milwaukee. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett even declared June 11, 2015 as John Kissinger Day in the city. Tonight, John is being awarded not only the ACEC Wisconsin Lifetime Achievement Award but also being inducted into the ACEC National College of Fellows which recognizes sustained engineering engagement and excellence over a career. Congratulations to John for these very well deserved honors!
