MSA is pleased to announce that Kenneth Mika has joined the firm as operations leader. Read the full press release below:
'MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) announced today the hiring of Dr. Kenneth R. Mika (Ken), DBA, PE, BC.GE, F. ASCE, as the operations leader for the firm’s Land service line.
Ken joins MSA with approximately 20 years of experience in environmental engineering, remediation, construction quality assurance, and operational management. Throughout his career, he has led complex environmental, energy, utility, and municipal projects while also serving in strategic leadership roles focused on client service, business development, and organizational growth. Ken’s expertise includes environmental remediation, construction management, and regulatory coordination, complemented by extensive leadership experience guiding teams, supporting organizational growth, and helping clients navigate complex technical and regulatory challenges.
Prior to joining MSA, Ken served as the Central Region Area Manager at Tetra Tech based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In 2025 he earned his Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Edgewood University with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership with extensive research in the engineering industry. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering with an emphasis in Applications of Engineering Management as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Environmental and Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Ken is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in 10 states, a Board Certified Geotechnical Engineer (BC.GE), and Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (F. ASCE). He also served as the Region 3 Director and is the incoming Treasurer for the American Society of Civil Engineers.
