'For the seventh consecutive year, raSmith has been honored as one of the nation’s Best Firms To Work For by Zweig Group. raSmith is one of only a few Wisconsin firms that ranked in the award’s civil engineering category.

“We are excited to be recognized for the eleventh time in our history as one of the best firms to work for in the United States,” said Richard A. Smith, Jr. (Ricky), raSmith president. “This award celebrates the success and dedication of our amazing staff, who are passionate about providing innovative solutions, pursuing excellence and striving to exceed our clients’ expectations. We enjoy providing a culture that supports our team members and helps them succeed.”

Wendy Wolfgram, raSmith human resources manager, said, “At raSmith, we are proud to offer our employees an outstanding compensation package, opportunities for growth and volunteering, a health and wellness program, special company events and other benefits in a unique, family-friendly culture. We are currently looking for more talented people to join our growing team. This year alone, raSmith has created 18 new positions so far to support our Wisconsin, Illinois and California offices and better serve our clients.”

This award recognizes the top architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) companies in the U.S. and Canada for their ability to inspire their teams to perform at the highest levels. Firms were evaluated based on their workplace practices, benefits, employee retention rates and anonymous employee surveys, from both management and staff perspectives.

Zweig Group will announce this year’s winners at the 2019 Elevate AEC Conference from October 2–4 in Las Vegas. For more information about the Best Firms to Work For Award, please visit
