Support the ACEC PAC

Posted By: Andrew Heidtke Advocacy,

ACEC WI is encouraging all members to contribute to our national political giving efforts through the ACEC PAC. This is an important part of our legislative strategy and helps us achieve our goals at the federal level. Below is a letter from ACEC PAC Champion Gil Hantzsch:

"I am writing to ask for your support of the ACEC Political Action Committee (PAC).  The ACEC PAC is what funds the advocacy mission of ACEC and helps to create a better business environment for our firms.  They do this through supporting measures such as the IIJA and defending our industry from emerging threats.  Your support is important as we head into another election cycle.  Having raised $1.15 million in 2021 the ACEC PAC is among the top PACs in Washington.  Wisconsin has historically done our part by being one of the first states to reach our PAC goal, and then by going beyond it.  As of right now, we are at 73% of our goal, and want to have surpassed it before the ACEC Convention in May.

The easiest way to support ACEC’s mission is through the semi-annual sweepstakes.  For each conference (spring and fall) there are 15 prizes awarded ranging from $1,000 on up to $10,000. Once again, there will be only 1,500 tickets sold at a price of $200 each (maximum of five per person).  There are two easy ways you can support ACEC and enter the Spring Sweepstakes TODAY:

  1. Fill out this form and email it to pac@acec.org OR
  2. Click here to visit the PAC website, then select “Click Here to Access ACEC PAC”.  You will need your log in information, then select  “Contribute Today” along the right side of the screen, followed by “Spring Sweepstakes”.  Select Wisconsin from the map, and then you can enter your credit card information and you are done!

The drawing will be held on May 23rd during the annual convention, but you need not be present to win.

For those of you who have contributed in the past - thank you for your continued support!  For those of you who have not, I ask you to consider starting now.  Let’s help ACEC continue to pave the way for our firms, and help Wisconsin reach our goal before the spring conference in May yet again!

Feel free to reach out to me if any questions, and thanks again for your consideration.

Cheers,

Gil
