US Senate Clears Additional Funding

Good evening, I am attaching summaries and the bill text of the $483 billion supplemental package agreed to yesterday, which includes $310 billion in additional funding for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) as well as assistance to hospitals. The bill was just cleared by the Senate unanimously, and we’ve been told that the House will vote to approve the package on Thursday.
There is already speculation as to how long this latest infusion for PPP loans will last, as that timetable will dictate the schedule for the next package, where the focus may turn to infrastructure and other outstanding issues.
