Virtual Business Meeting Celebrates a Successful Year
On May 28th, ACEC Wisconsin members gathered virtually from around the state for our first virtual Annual Business Meeting. While Miller Park would have been an awesome venue to celebrate our best year ever, we still had our typical Annual Meeting crew on-hand virtually to celebrate our successes and look ahead to 2020-21.
Despite the pandemic, the 2019-20 fiscal year is our most successful year as an association.
- Increased visibility in the Capitol and political wins on a wide range of political issues.
- Strengthened and enhanced relationships with state agencies.
- Strong conference attendance at Civil 3D Workshop, DFDM Collaborative Conference and Transportation Improvement Conference.
- Leadership Institute continues to thrive.
- Increased member involvement and new committees.
- Great progress on strategic goals.
ACEC Wisconsin is a dynamic association built to weather this storm. We were fine-tuning and reinventing ourselves well before the health crisis was upon us. ACEC WI has quickly pivoted to offer increased communication and virtual events to our members. We will continue to bring value to members now and as we move into the next normal.
Members can access the Business Meeting slides via the Members Resources page and then navigating to the Event Presentations page.
In addition to the Business Meeting, we had the opportunity to hear from ACEC National President & CEO Linda Bauer Darr. Linda provided updates on ACEC’s new R3 initiative brings together education, advocacy and important resources to help firm leaders navigate the COVID-19 crisis and prepare for a post-pandemic marketplace. Don’t miss National’s resources, free webinars, and advocacy initiatives.
